Kindra is a traditional artist, published illustrator, graphic designer, and art educator based in California, USA.
The very first time Kindra picked up a crayon, she knew she wanted to be an artist. Over the years, she’s been specializing in multiple art mediums, including, but not limited to, colored pencils, ink pens, and watercolors. She is inspired by the beauty of life, whether that be individual people, animals, or nature. Kindra’s love of color with a special affinity for indigo add a fun, whimsy, and vibrance to her art. Kindra hopes her art and illustrations inspire as well as motivate others to pick up an art tool and create.
Kindra’s graphic design journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Design at the University of California Davis in 2005. Utilizing her graphic design skills, she has published illustrated books featuring her artwork. In 2017, Kindra began her role as an art educator via the online video-sharing platform YouTube.
Kindra is currently sharing her monthly art challenge journey while contributing to the local art community via geocaching artworks.
In addition to illustration, design, and art education, Kindra also enjoys gardening, reading, and hiking.
